It may have been lifted, but 3 weeks ago when my order went in, the standard wheels were on constraint. I changed to high-polish 10 spokes to avoid a delay.
Love the build! I was partial to black wheels, however I'm starting to lean towards silver wheels on certain colors lately. I still voted for black on you build because I still think the darker AB color looks better with black and they'll match the carbon flash aero and center stripe.
I'm up in the air about the polish/carbon flash wheels. In theory it's the best of both worlds but I would need so see them in person first.
Well, I voted black, although the 3rd choice with the machine edge is not unattractive.
With your build, I did not prefer the pure nickel.
Ya, if the black is carbon flash, to match the boomerang, that could be a bonus

I am going to the dealer this morning to finalize my allocation that is going in tomorrow.
The standard pearl nickel wheels are still on constraint so I am changing to the machine faced wheels.
Right now i think I will go with the Carbon Flash that have both the satin and black on it. It is a good compromise on this as I think the black is too dark and the nickel is too bright. And I do not want Polished.
I have gunmetal C7 Z06 wheels on my C5 now and it is a good compromise between the polished and black.
It is good the WIng is holding up the order so I can give this a good final once over. I am also going to the Stealth package inside.
Not too late to change. This is my build and I’m considering Black wheels now.
Black wheels provide many viewing experiences where all you see is circular black holes where the wheels are. When the car is moving, the wheels turn into black blurs. In bright sunlight, many viewing angles result in the extreme contrasts masking all details of the black wheels. The photo above shows how the black wheels are beginning to disappear due to contrasting.
It's a personal choice. Black wheels are great if you don't want to distract from the appearance of the car by itself. I myself prefer chrome...the flashes of light produced by the wheels highlights the cars motion.
