The red rear engine car with the letter "A" on the side and grille is a Japanese Renault Alpine.
Owner is a younger GM engineer, he just picked it up from being repainted yesterday, bought it sight unseen from Japan, had it shipped to NY and went and drove it back from there about 3 years ago.
His Dad has a C1 that he has owned since new but is currently living in GA where the family originally was from.
That definitely would be a "one-of" car these days.

Subaru SVX. It had a weird window within a window arrangement - the outer 20% or 30% of the side window was fixed. The overall shape reminds me of a Ford Probe.
