Default Replaced a trailing arm now got hissing

So I replaced a trailing arm, used my power bleeder, to bleed the system..Started the car and now I am getting a hissing sound when I step on the brakes, could that be air in the line? The peddle is soft. It's a new brake booster and master cylinder from last year, brakes were working fine before I did the trailing arm. Hoping this is air in the line..

Is the sound evident while the car is static? If so, get someone to step on the brake and see if you can narrow down the area where it is coming from.

Air in the lines doesn't hiss. Power brake boosters that are leaking do hiss.
Maybe new last year. But I'd be checking that!

Try disconnecting the brake booster and plugging the line at the intake manifold and see if the hissing goes away. If it does, you have found the problem. Jerry

Yes I have done that. No hissing solid peddle.. this is the second tuff stuff booster. The first one leaked, couldn't return, bought this one last summer and I am doing this again, so pissed..

Before you get an other booster, make sure the vacuum line and check valve, if you have one, are good. Jerry

I would call their tech line before replacing it. Get a helper and identify the exact location of said hiss. THe check valve might be cracked. Ive had a tuff stuff master/booster set for a number of years with zero issues. I swear by them but again with the way companies are going with diversity hires you my be getting some clown building your stuff. Just be glad you arent on a Boeing Airliner watching engine parts fall off
