Default What Brand Of Tire Pressure Sensors?

I need to replace a couple of tire pressure sensors. GM’s are $60 a piece!

What brand do you recommend?

Schrader. Would check out their web site to make sure you get the right part # for your year car. Note, they do require the $10 activation tool for the learning process

i bought schraders, and they program with just a simple magnet.

but they're the ones who made the OEM, so i'd go with them for replacements. just get the correct version for your car's year. part numbers for each are floating around here.

I just went with the GM OEM branded ones (even though they are Schrader).

4 years ago I bought some from Discount Tire. You could ask what they would charge for a set. You should check the date of manufacture on the ones they have in stock. When I bought tires the ones in stock were 2 years old. They found some only 1 year old. I have 1 that has quit working but I do not know if it is because of an old battery.
Post # 3 on this thread tells how to check the manufacture date. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...date-code.html

I think this is the correct sensor. It states a programming tool is required…. Maybe the wheel mounting shop will have something?

I also found this magnet.

Schrader is a good brand. I have also bought the GM branded ones. Schrader may be cheaper.

Default Made a change from OEM

I run CCW'S and also have the OEM thin spoke wheels that I keep tires on. I decided to change up in hope of a little longer life span.
I went with Huf. - TMPS.COM 4 for $100.00
