Brand name high test from a station that moves a lot of it helps but not a guarantee their tanks are up to spec [dirt ,water , cut fuel etc]

Yes on QT, no on Buc-Eees. I usually get mine at Costco since they are often the cheapest Top Tier.

Buccees is not on the list so they don't participate in the TopTier progam. TopTier licensed brands must participate in the TopTier program. They pay a fee, and agree to use an additive (does not have to be techron) that meets the TopTier performance specification. A non-approved brand means they do not participate in the program. That brand may or may not meet the TopTier performance specification. Costco, which is TopTier injects their additive at the stations - its in a separate tank - I know this because I contacted them and asked.

I use TopTier when I can.
