I believe if you look around and cross reference oil performance metrics with the SC oil you can eventually find one that would technically work.
But the real question is why? Is it just to save a buck? Doesn't seem like that would apply to most guys driving 40-70k cars with a 10k supercharger kit on it.
Unless the regular stuff is out of stock it's a pretty safe bet. You'd hate to be the guy with a blown head unit having to explain to the manufacturer or your shop about why you put something other than the recommended oil in it.
