Later cars have HUD even on 1 level trims.
Some of the best upgrades for a 2 level over a 1 level to me are the ventilated seats, heated too for those cold drives, and the adjustable seat bolsters and lumbar.
Then you also get more leather on the door panels, console and dash, that are just vinyl or soft plastic on the 1 level cars, also two-tone materials on non all black interiors.
Secondary to me is the better BOSE radio, 14 speaker compared to 10, Performance data recorder.
There are a number of other differences beyond those, but those are the ones you see and touch all the time.
Good luck, @Kashy. Keep us updated. Also, dealers do the nice little offers on the phone to get you into the showroom. Once you're there, they'll lowball your trade figuring you want that C8 pretty bad. Don't fall for it, as there are lots of other vehicles available. Hopefully, you already know what your trade is worth, have your own financing lined up as leverage for a better rate from them, etc.
Thanks for the advice, yeah I had the same thought.

Same. Another 1LT owner here. My 1LT stickered for over $85k. I could've had a 2LT, or even a 3LT at that price. But I intentionally wanted a 1LT. IDK where the "1LT buyers will hate it and trade in for a 2LT" line of thinking comes from.
OP is looking for used and in that case 2LT will come with a lot of nice to have options and the difference in price is going to be minimal over a used 1LT. The only thing wrong with a 3LT is the problematic peeling dash that you definitely do not want to get stuck with and they are a problem.
Before walking into the dealer and looking at any car, I always check with my credit union or bank for the best interest rate. And check KBB.com to see what my trade is worth. Also check the price of the newer car I am interested in. Walk in with a pen and pad of paper with the prices, and ready with the calculator on my phone. If you are not ready to seriously crunch some numbers, you will pay more. That is their duty.
^^^^ 100%, you have to do your home work and be ready to pull the trigger but also, you don't want to go in there acting like a tire kicker.... this holds true with all negotations....
My mother was a wise woman and i always quote here... she used to say "a fool and his money are soon parted".... so true.

I’m going a different direction I’m decided to pay off my Mustang early, then relax and save for a bit for a hefty downpayment on a brand new one I build online or very low miles under 10k. This way I get to keep my Mustang and have my precious garage car C8 me and my woman can take both to car shows at the same time.
