I just ordered one of those handles. I practiced removing and replacing the roof by myself today, and managed to do so without damaging it or my car, but it was enough of a struggle that I don't know my luck will always be that good. I suspect that handle will make a huge difference - thanks for the suggestion!

And when you take it off on a windy day. It just might get away from you.

Good to hear.

The use of the handle probably would have helped for sure. The handle will hold objects up to 125 lbs.

Great price. Appears to be the same as Amazon item.
When you add the $6.99 shipping it is about the same price as Amazon if you have Prime. Now $12.65 at Amazon.

If you don't have a local Harbor Frieght than the Amazon Prime price is the best.

I bought mine at Amazon for the $12.65 shipped. I didn't realize HF sold them at the time of my purchase.

I know noting about expel so I gather it depends on how well it's stuck to the car.

would suggest help regardless unless quite strong and tall it weighs about 22 lbs and is a disaster if dropped.

Can someone who uses the lift handle post a photo of where you fasten it? It sounds good, but I am having a hard time understanding how it makes it easier than not using the handle. It seems like it will still take two hands to control it.

CF roof panel only weighs 15lbs, not that difficult to handle by hand, may be somewhat awkward for slight women. Men, man up and do it.

I've always did it myself. Unhook latches, open door and rear hatch, grab from passenger side because I'm right handed, lift and in the hatch she goes. Still a piece of cake at 67 years old...lol

Placing On Car
Lift roof out with both hands.

Lean back about 45 degrees, and rest roof flat on your chest, then swivel roof and reposition hands to front and rear of roof.

Place roof ON car lightly. Make sure both rubber tabs on car at the rear of both sides of the roof are tucked under the roof.

Tap down lightly with palm of hand on front center until roof in place.

Latch

Takes me about 35 seconds start to finish
Pretty much how I do it. The roof is very lightweight (nothing like the C5 roof panels I had).
