Theres a difference between a few rotations and hazing your tires though. :) If those suckers dead hooked they'd explode. Its a delicate science I'll never fully understand between allowable tire spin and clutch engagement.

My little 383 lights them up hitting the gas WOT at 45-50 mph. Revs go right to the limiter.
It's a terrific feeling!!! :smash:

my young brothers 2000 camaro SS goes sideways going 70 mph on the
freeway he got the 427 Ls6 motor 4000 stall yank and 323 rearend the car is
3200 pounds fast just go it tuned last weekend it made 500 HP and 480 TQ
with that big converter and 12 bolt rear end tha car is fast almost as fast as
my vette :steering:

my 383 TPI with *im guessing* about 380ft lbs of torque at flywheel will light tires at a roll at 30 up to about 38. dont know if that helps. I have 3.07 gears and an automatic right now.

Me too with the same set up and it is fun,,, I did it today, a guy I work with that has a 01 Cobra was walking with a gas can,,,,, So I had to let him have it..... :D
