Default Clay towel

A video ad for this popped up on my FB page. Looks interesting. Any of you use one?

I haven't used one of those, but I do use a
clay sponge clay sponge
when using the wash/clay/seal technique.

I wash with P&S Soap, clay and dry using P&S Beadmaker, and then seal with P&S Inspiration Defender, which bonds with Beadmaker. <60 minutes. I always use a drying aid like Beadmaker to protect against scratching.

I use them, makes the claying process so much quicker. I think I got mine from the rag company. They are reusable too, unlike clay once it gets too caked. I have not noticed any difference between real clay and the clay towels as far as performance goes. I only clay my car if I am going to polish it after, which is usually every 3-5 years.

As I understand, the clay towel is not as aggressive as a traditional clay bar. Some videos recommend using a clay towel when washing the car using a foaming PH neutral car wash soap. This appears the reason is to reduce the build-up of surface contaminates between washings.

Yes clay towels are great. Get the towel and with the clay side down on a soapy car it seems to adhere to the paint.
Allowing you to quickly do a clay bar cleaning before waxing.
The clay bar towel can be cleaned in a soapy bucket frequently, where a clay bar can not be cleaned.
I tried a clay bar micro fiber glove. It did not work well because that requires pressure from your hand where the wet towel creates it own pressure.
