i didn't like the oem shiftknob, actually i hated it, so i designed this replacement that fits without any modification to the boot or the shaft.
it's in 3 pieces, you lock the base with a m4 screw to the shaft, then insert the button, then screw in the top part, done.
it's printed it in ABS, sanded a little and spraypainted, it's still a beta but works with no issue, the goal is to have it machined in alluminium for a better finish.

If I was going to swap out my shifter ****, I'd probably go with one of the aftermarket ball ***** that eliminate the button (you push the whole **** down instead). However, this is interesting and pretty well done. It will definitely look a lot better in metal as opposed to 3D printed plastic. Have you considered black anodized aluminum rather than polished? I think that would look better. As mentioned though, any metal shift **** is going to get HOT.
