Is it just me or is it getting increasingly difficult to find "Corvette" events? I live on Long Island and there used to be something happening almost every Saturday & Sunday - Now there's nothing - or they are not being posted???
I know some of these kids have really put a bad "stain" on car club activities due to these stupid/reckless "takeovers" you hear about. Hopefully that hasn't caused the mature car club meetings to go extinct.
Anyway - If any of you know of anything happening in the near future - please post it here! Cheers - Be safe and "save the wave"!
It seems that a lot of Corvette, and general car shows too are dying off. Many are being replaced by weeknight "cruises" where you can come and go as you please and the whole event is over in a couple hours, as opposed to sitting on the hot blacktop of some random parking lot all day.
Weathers going to be great in New England this weekend. If you want to go out for a nice summer cruise then head up to Mass. We will be holding our
annual all Corvette car show at the Chicopee Family Moose Center on Burnett Road in Chicopee Mass.
Check out this link for more information and we hope to see you there. Corvette Club of Western Ma Car show

I live on the Island as well. I've looked at the websites of several Corvette clubs that are out here, and remember seeing that they do have gatherings every so often. If memory serves me well, there are 4 or 5 clubs out here.
A bunch of corvette guys hangout in Airport Plaza (Farmingdale) Sunday morning. I drive with some friends every so often and we end up there for breakfast after the run. They are always there but it is not a car show. Approx 20 corvettes parked each Sunday.
I haven't come across any in the Central NJ area either.
The only thing I never understood is starting these events at super early on a Sunday.....the last thing I'm doing on a weekend is waking up early for something like that, especially if there's F1, NASCAR, IMSA, WEC, etc on. Why not start at 10 am? or 11?
