I'd like my account deleted as well. Not sure if that option has been made available in the past 5 years (probably not), but I can't find it nonetheless.

Did you read post #2 (directly above your post). We don't delete accounts. Just stop using it.
Is there going to be a long term option to change this? I think per the various privacy laws out there now (specifically the CA one) the option to delete ones account and have all personal information removed is required. Not sure how that can be accomplished without hiding all the posts once an account is deleted. I'm surprised there isn't already an option for European members who have a "Right to be Forgotten" under EU law.
Probably something IB needs to look into. Especially since we can't go back and delete all our own posts and threads anymore.

Removing an account and any PII (that the member would have supplied) is already handled. Our legal team knows more about this than I do and they keep updated. BTW this thread is over 9 years old, so there is some relevancy and some not.

So, I stop using it and you all reset the subscriptions for emails and now I get a bunch of junk emails. Delete my account so it can not get changed by your updates to the site.
