I "think" the official GM emails are VERY hit & miss no matter what status code you are sitting at.

I believe you’re on to something there. I got my GM email just a couple days ago which said I’m at status 3000 with TPW of 7/20. I received no email from MM, only a call from Adam two weeks ago saying that my order was accepted by GM and that I would be receiving an email with a tracking number. Others have order status numbers lower than mine, but with a shorter TPW (sometime in June). I assumed (incorrectly) that a higher order number would mean a shorter TPW.

I've only gotten updates by my salesman calling me on the phone or emailing me. Nothing from GM

MM Order Tracker's update this morning still shows me @ 3000, but I have a TPW shown now...7/20!

Someone has to get a factory tour that day to get a pic of our cars on the line together!

Yeah hopefully the aero kit doesn’t have any more issues! I’m paying a steep premium for it…..

Love it ! That would be cool for sure. I'm doing Museum Delivery so will be interesting over the next few weeks to hear how long the quality holds are. This is my first at the beginning of a new model production year so we'll just have to see how it goes.

I wish they still had the option to watch your car get built with a private guide, I did that with my C7 and it was a great experience over 2 days, walking each of the 3 minute stations, talkiing to the technicians, etc. Then we'd all be there together watching our cars move down the line in person !!

If our TPWs are accurate, they should indeed be very close together on the line. That’s disappointing with regards to museum delivery not allowing them to watch your car being built. I thought that was part of the package.

The way the "Watch your car get built" went was you showed up around 7:30 am if I recall right, that was probably when my Vin was scheduled to arrive, then you walk each and every station, breaking for lunch, and then through the end of that day. I think they were operating at a standard shift or maybe more a day at the time, which meant that you came back the next day again at 7:30, in my case, and the car was finished sometime after lunch. You get in the seat, start it up, photo-op, drive it a short distance clearing the line, exit the vehicle, they then take the car to do final checkouts (performance verification, water deluge station, and I think they take it out for a short track drive. Then the car went into quality hold - so you had to go home and come back. So we watched it get built on December 18/19 (Thursday/Fri), and came back to pick it up a week and a half later, on Tuesday the 30th, a great Christmas present !! Then you had the option (Ching, Ching) to receive a photo album with pictures your guide took across those two days.

So fast forward to today you can take the factory tour, just not of your car being built - the factory tour was amazing to me so I'll probably do it again when we go up to pick the car up, see what's changed, etc.

Default Updates following TPW?

So I’m at 3000 w/ TPW 7/20, for about 10 days

Tried the Chevrolet.com chat but it didn’t provide my specific status or TPW, instead vague statement of it moving through production process - others have reported same but some are getting a response that includes their status code and TPW, I think?

Tried calling into concierge but the person said they no longer provide the specific codes and dates and to seek updates from my dealer, but others here have been given more info than I got, I think?

That then takes me to MM - are they actively monitoring our order status and emailing when it changes or are we now likely to get updates only each week on Tuesday?

Excited and curious, not complaining 😎

I'm in the same TPW right now and I suspect we won't see another status change until we are a few weeks out from 7/20. In my experience the chat is useless. A quick email to the dealer is gonna provide the most reliable source of information.

Anyone know how many people are on the Grand Sport list with MacMulkin and expected deliveries they are quoting? Thinking of adding my name/deposit...

Not sure where they are currently, but call or email Adam Morin @ MacMulkin. Good guy who will give it to you straight!
