Default Frunk out for drag strip - car thinks hood is open now? 2025 2lt

Do I just drive in spite of the constant messages? The car says stop and close hood. Will it let me launch it like this or is there a fix?.?

thanks

We would like a chance to look into what might be causing the messages alongside your dealership. Having messages about your hood when it is not open can be frustrating to see when trying to enjoy your Corvette. When you get a chance, please visit https://s.chevy.com/support-request and fill out our support form with more information on your concerns. A member of our team will follow up with next steps to best assist you.

The wiring loom needs to be separated from the bin and plugged back into the car. I also plug the light and charger panel (for lack of better term) back in and zip tie it securely under the hood somewhere. It disables the remote start and the automatic door lock feature but you won't get the "close hood" message.

This ^^^^ and you can remove the rf sensor from your frunk or buy a new one. I couldn’t get a new one to work so used old one . I assume the new one needs programming.

Just remove the harness attached to the frunk and plug it back in.
