<span style="color:#161616">1. Why don't we ask GM if any of those will fit?</span><br />
<span style="color:#161616">2. If not, ask them to make one. After all, the C8 will be around for a couple more years, so there will be a market.</span><br />

<span style="color:#161616">An internet search brings up a couple of low profile units that look promising from MotoRad and Stant.<br />
I don't want to buy one and then it won't fit.</span><br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I ordered a radiator from Trackspec and, since I have a track day coming up, chose the fastest shipping from DHL. Three days go by and I finally get a shipping notification from UPS with a slower service. I call immediately but they don't answer so I left a message. Later in the day they email me claiming that the shipping option doesn't exist, they'll remove it from the site and refund the difference. I ordered from them specifically because they offered fast shipping and the radiator was in stock. It isn't acceptable to just ignore an order and ship it out anyway. Three days to ship something that's in stock also seems really slow to me, especially considering I chose a fast shipping option.<br />
<br />
I had to follow up several times for that refund to be issued too. It should have been issued at the same time the email promising it was sent.<br />
<br />
This isn't exactly trackspec's fault, but they didn't ship with DHL like I requested so it sort of is, dealing with customs and UPS was a nightmare that ended up delaying the shipment even further.<br />
<br />
The radiator finally arrived and due to poor packaging from trackspec and/or poor handling from UPS the package was damaged. One of the fittings had broken through the boxes. It doesn't appear damaged, luckily.<br />
<br />
They told me they would remove the DHL shipping option from their website on April 17 but it's still available today almost a month later.<br />
<br />
The radiator's going in tomorrow, and the track day is Thursday. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong.<br />
<br />
It's a shame because they obviously have some quality parts, but this level of service is just unacceptable to me. I was considering buying some of their wheels but I'll be going another route.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>This is the fuel pressure after 5 min of applying 12v from batter to pin B at the sending unit , so far I’ve replaced fuel pumps with multiple different pumps , regulator, filter, injectors, sending unit , relay and harness? I can hear the pump prime &amp; the relay click loud and clear when turning the key but I only get a squirt out of the sending unit itself less than 1 psi. if I apply 12v long enough eventually it will build to 40psi &amp; hold. the fuel seems to have trouble leaving the sending unit itself if I unplug the feed hose it squirts just a little bit of fuel out the tank. Any ideas? I’m at a loss right now don’t know what to do<br />

2012 3LT, Manual. Flash Silver Metallic. 36,500mi (will go up as I'm about to drive it 1250mi from Seattle--&gt;San Diego next week).<br />

This Corvette was delivered at the National Corvette Museum to its first owner. We purchased it from the estate of the most recent prior owner, a 70+ year old man. It has been a Pacific Northwest car its entire life. It was garaged a majority of the time in the 6 years I've owned it (I driveway parked it during Summers).<br />
<br />

-Slight wear on driver's seat outer bolster<br />

This is a nicely maintained example that drives very well, has some nice upgrades, and a lot of life left for the next owner to enjoy.<br />
<br />
Asking $29,250. Car is currently in Seattle until Sunday, May 17th. Then I'll be road tripping it to San Diego through the next week.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>This is the fuel pressure after 5 min of applying 12v from batter to pin B at the sending unit , so far I’ve replaced fuel pumps with multiple different pumps , regulator, injectors sending unit , relay and harness? I can hear the pump prime &amp; the relay click loud and clear when turning the key but I only get a squirt of fuel less than 1 psi. if I apply 12v long enough eventually it will build to 40psi &amp; hold. Any ideas? I’m at a loss right now don’t know what to do

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I just finished going through 4 Q-Jets over the weekend, and thought I would list the problems that these 4 &quot;normal&quot; carbs had. Just for your entertainment, here are the problems that 4 carbs had:<br />
.<ul><li>Accelerator pump rod installed in incorrect lever arm location</li>
<li>Accelerator pump that is not fuel compatible installed in the carb - pump diaphragm swollen and completely seized in the pump bore - accel pump inoperable</li>
<li>Choke pulloff bleed calibration hole drilled out, eliminating secondary airvalve control</li>
<li>Float needle clip installed sideways, jamming the float</li>
<li>Extreme low float level (very lean)</li>
<li>Incorrect seals installed on the choke intermediate shaft</li>
<li>Idle mixture screws fully backed out, attempting to compensate for a lean condition with no idle air/fuel control</li>
<li>Bent linkages, bent throttle lever, and bent throttle shaft</li>
<li>Missing fuel inlet fitting</li>
<li>Missing vacuum nipples</li>
<li>Wrong float installed</li>
<li>Broken power piston retaining collar</li>
<li>Missing primary rod retaining spring</li>
<li>Secondary throttles not closing due to altered throttle linkage, causing fuel to discharge from secondary nozzles at idle &#8211; massive rich condition</li>
<li>Secondary linkage altered to limit secondary opening to ½ throttle</li>
<li>Bent secondary throttle shaft</li>
<li>Sloppy secondary throttle shaft bushings, preventing consistent return-to-idle speed after WOT operation</li>
<li>Damaged/altered throttle lever, requiring weld repair</li>
<li>Bent secondary airvalve shaft</li>
<li>Severe damage and erosion of dichromate finish on all components</li>
<li>Missing choke cover</li>
<li>Secondary airvalve tension spring loose and damaged</li>
<li>Corrosion on all steel surfaces</li>
<li>Incorrect hardware installed throughout carb</li>
<li>Extreme low (lean) APT setting</li>
<li>Accelerator pump diaphragm collapsed - accel pump inoperable</li>
<li>Incorrect inlet seat installed</li>
<li>Undersized jets installed</li>
<li>Choke intermediate shaft seals missing</li>
<li>Secondary shaft spring disconnected, intentionally disabling secondaries</li>
<li>Incorrect choke coil lever installed - choke cannot operate</li>
<li>Upper Idle Air Bleeds filled with epoxy, making idle circuit grossly rich</li>
<li>Broken secondary metering rod hanger cam</li>
<li>Bent &amp; destroyed secondary airvalve spring</li>
<li>Bowl idle vent assembled and installed upside-down - inoperable</li>
<li>Primary metering jets damaged</li>
<li>Grossly misbalanced idle mixtures</li>
<li>Plugged fuel filter</li>
<li>Defective choke pulloff - spring is too tight, and bleed restrictor has been drilled out making the pulloff inoperable</li>
<li>Secondary throttle linkage bent &amp; altered to prevent secondary opening</li>
<li>Bent &amp; binding secondary airvalve shaft</li>
<li>Defective (bent &amp; altered) secondary airvalve spring</li>
<li>Wrong power piston spring installed - spring from ball point pen installed</li>
<li>Stripped needle/seat threads in bowl</li>
<li>Cracked float bowl</li>
<li>Stripped fuel inlet threads in bowl</li>
<li>Choke cover housing screws broken off in choke housing</li>
<li>Idle air bypass passages plugged with lead plugs</li>
<li>Incorrect throttle plate installed with undersized idle air bypass bleeds, causing &quot;fuel dribble&quot; from the main discharge nozzles at idle</li>
<li>Idle air bleeds drilled out oversized, producing a non-correctable lean idle mixture</li>
</ul>Did you notice that not one of them had a &quot;leaky bowl plug&quot; causing fuel to &quot;drain out of the bowl overnight?&quot; Yet several owners suspected the &quot;leaky bowl plug&quot; problem due to difficult next-day cold starts. Those problems were mostly caused by bad, Chinese-provided accelerator pumps (sold all over eBay, Amazon, and by all the chain store auto parts outlets). Yes, the junk pumps are blue... just because they're blue does not mean they are pump-gas compatible... watch out...<br />

I started installing these GMB U-Joints (Japanese) from Rock Auto. I have some questions based on the photos below.<br />
<br />
1. Do the retaining clips look adequately seated in both photos below?<br />
<br />
2. I seated the U-Joints by tapping them in with a hammer followed by pressing them in with a ball joint / u-joint press like <div style="display: none;" id="ame_noshow_other_1778566830_1">

</div>. I only installed one on each half shaft and will install the others when I get the trailing arms and differential back from Bair's. The two joints that I have installed are a little bit stiff. I assume they are stiff because I did not perfectly align them when pressing them in. Is this going to cause vibration or other problems? If so, how do I fix them before installing?<br />
<br />
3. How does the lower shock mount look in the photos below? Can I reuse it after running the threads through a die or do I need to buy another for $50 plus freight? The other one mushroomed when I was beating it out of the trailing arm after alternately heating it and soaking it in PB Blaster.<br />
