2026 - on Locking fuel cap, let's find a solution.
Rather than just vent our frustrations here, how about we do something?
I looked online, GM does produce locking gas caps for similar capless tanks.
So...
1. Why don't we ask GM if any of those will fit?
2. If not, ask them to make one. After all, the C8 will be around for a couple more years, so there will be a market.
3. Does anyone know if a non GM unit will work?
An internet search brings up a couple of low profile units that look promising from MotoRad and Stant.
I don't want to buy one and then it won't fit.
If nothing else, how about anyone with a late '26 C8 or "27 on order, contact or call the Corvette concierge. Corvetteconcierge@chevrolet.com and ask the question.
