Thinking about starting a Corvette "club" in the South Broward area. There's alot of places to meet. Not interested in fees or the like. More of a meet, gear head talk, compare builds help out with mechanical issues kind of thing. LMK your opinions.
Me and my friends are not a club, just of Corvette lovers meet either breakfast on Sunday and dinners durning the week, plus car shows we gather at, there is lot more, but the numbers change each week, and that Ford Street Rod, he also has C7 Z06 and C3 Corvette.

Florida High Performance apparently does good work, but is stupid expensive and seems to do builds moderately.
I use Gizmos auto repair in deerfield beach for my C6. They do a lot of LS Swaps and work on a bunch of other C6's. He also opened another shop called Gizmos power factory that has a dyno. I have not had any issues with any of the work they have done for me.
I agree, I used Fla High Performance, very expensive, but their work is the best quality They built me a 740 wheel hp zo6. Its been flawless since.
FYI, Plantation park on Wednesday nights is starting up. Chuck Mosello (rumored to be the best Vette Tech in SoFla) is in and promoting it. Once I receive more particulars I will advise

Interesting since I live across the street from the park, WHAT GATHERING?
Just wanted to update, Gizmos is now closed but they still have Gizmos Power factory. My car is one of many C6's they work on, they work on all generations I believe. The main thing they do is LS swaps so they've done a bunch of porsche LS swaps and any other car you can think of. They are in Deerfield Beach off 95 and SW 10th.
Chuck has a bunch of his work on Facebook, I have never used him, but you can find him on FB. He takes pics of the work and describes what the outcome was.
US27 Broward, I75 West towards Naples,Krome Ave. But you are right, no scenic PCH TOD type places.
Take a drive down to the Keys, this is where I have taken my Vette. It's not PCH as previously stated, but on a nice winters day it can be amazing sometimes. Stop by Whale Harbor, and eat a bunch, then on the way up go to Keyl Lime Pie Factory
So the Plantation Volunteer Park meet is set for the 1st Wednesday of every month. There's a food truck rally and the parking for the cars is immediately next to the food truck area. Starts at 6pm for food 7pm for the cars. Cool midweek meet with good guys and chow.
All are welcome!
