Offered by a 30-year NCRS member and owner of 28 years, this is a highly authentic, investment-grade 1966 Corvette Convertible. It features its factory matching-numbers L79 327ci/350hp engine, a 4-speed manual transmission, and is finished in its striking, factory-correct Nassau Blue over a correct blue leather interior with a white soft top.
Production History & Authentication
  • Very Late Production: Detailed factory research of the VIN, trim tag, and engine block stamp confirms a highly desirable, very late production June 28, 1966 build date.
  • All component date codes, engine stamp pad, trim tag, and VIN plate are intact, fully matching, and historically correct for this late build window.
  • Note: Watermarked and partially obscured photos of the stamp pad, trim tag, and VIN plate are included for validation.
  • Restoration & Care History
  • The car underwent a meticulous, complete body-off restoration to strict NCRS standards.
  • Body & Paint: Executed beautifully by a fellow NCRS member. Paint and cosmetics remain outstanding.
  • Chassis & Frame: Pristine, rust-free, and highly detailed underside from the body-off build.
  • Pedigree: The car earned a Chapter Top Flight award in its past configuration.
  • Reason for Sale: This comprehensive second restoration was completed in 2019, after which the car was kept in a clean, climate-controlled garage and driven sparingly. The only reason I am selling this prized Corvette after 28 years of ownership is due to recent medical reasons that prevent me from driving a car with a clutch.
  • Current Condition & 2026 Turn-Key Status
The engine oil and filter were freshly changed right before the car was parked. To ensure the car is 100% road-ready for its next owner, it has just been fully brought out of its driving hiatus this month (May 2026):
  • Carburetor professionally rebuilt to address its idle time
  • Complete fuel system flush with fresh high-octane fuel
  • Brand new battery installed
  • Excellent mechanicals, tight suspension, and smooth shifting through the Muncie 4-speed.
  • Options & Components
  • Genuine Blue Leather Seats
  • Power Steering (P/S)
  • Power Brakes (P/B)
  • Standard Rear Exhaust
  • Original-style Hubcaps
  • Documentation Included
  • Complete Digital History: The entire 2019 body-off restoration is meticulously documented. All receipts, invoices, and step-by-step build photos are saved on my laptop and will be transferred to a thumb drive for the new owner.
  • Clean title strictly in the owner's name.
  • Media Available
High-resolution photos of the chassis and body are available. Cold-start and driving videos are available upon request. Please PM me for the unlisted YouTube link.
    Transaction & Payment Note
To ensure a secure, fraud-free transaction for both parties, the final sale will be processed exclusively through KeySavvy. They will handle the secure escrow payment, verify funds, and manage the title transfer safely. Out-of-state buyers can pay via ACH, wire, or finance through the platform, and funds must be secured before the vehicle is released to a shipping carrier.
  • Price: $79,500
  • VIN: 194676S124xxx (Full, unblurred VIN available to serious buyers upon phone verification)
  • Location: Bailey, Colorado
