HELL NO.. We went with 6 couples down to the Bash from New York.. Over 2300 miles round trip and $533.00 for gas LOL... IT is what it is and loved every mile...
I find it interesting that Corvette folks are buying Costco, Sam's, Racetrack, and even BP gas to save a few cents, ok maybe a few dollars. And these retailers are the absolute worst, even at 93 octane, for selling crap gas. Why do they sell it cheaper than the big boys-with very low detergent levels. Ethanol is bad enough. None of these guys even make the top tier list. I saw a C8 at "Speedy Gas" near our house two days ago. Why? You pay your hard earned buck for a truly bad a-- car and then you feed it with the lowest quality, cheapest fuel out there. No one likes $5 to $6+ a gallon. But if you want to save money on gas then buy a Chevette.......
Buying cheap non top tier gas is like driving your car thru Bubba's Drive Thru Car Wash.............. neither make any sense..

Driving is only a small part........ My green fees are up significantly as maintenance costs on the courses has gone up significantly. Been to the grocery????
A better question would be do you drive your C8 as aggressively as you did just 2 short months ago and at what price will you drive less?
Prices don't appear to be going down according to those in charge for a long time.
With these insane gas prices, has that curtailed using your C8? While not as insane as California, here in S. Florida it just cost me over $70 to fill up my C8. Granted we didn't buy these car for the MPG, but at some point it is going make me think twice about taking my C8 out other than for some pleasure driving. While I use to semi-daily my C8, lately my 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid has been seeing much more driving with over 40mpg around town and on regular gas. This past weekend one of the car groups I am in had a Saturday night cruise and the turnout was much less than usual.
At least my Honda is almost the same color as my C8, so that makes me not miss my C8 as much!
no impact at all. If one can afford these cars, the gas is a miscellaneous expense.
My daily driver is a Toyota Tundra, which gets about 16.3 mpg average, so the C8 gets about 50% better mileage, so no, higher prices haven’t changed my driving habits for the Corvette.

Well Costco and BP are on the TopTier list of gas resellers....interestingly enough, when trouble shooting a fuel issue I had early on with my new Z06, one of the Corvette Specialists at Rick Hendrick City Chevy in Charlotte NC specifically called out Racetrack fuel station across from Charlotte Motor Speedway as one of the better places to get fuel....
BP meets top tier but doesn’t have the certification. I always find it funny when someone post you have a $100k car and skimp on gas/ maintenance/ etc.

Yeah I am not sure how all that works. I jus know they are on their official list...ton's of BP stations in NC..
Nope.........Still not higher then when Biden was in office. At least not in my area. My daily gets 32MPG and it's a 10 mile drive to work. Then running around doing errands , I average about a tank every 2 weeks.....
The ZR-1 gets only SHELL 93 and is regulated to weekend duties and maybe drive it to work a few days a month.

If only you had your facts straight. Costco and BP are both Top Tier. Check for yourself: Top Tier Gas Brands
FYI Costco is Top Tier gas. I use it in my DD S8 and previous cars for years, haven't had any issues. Haven't filled up my z06 there yet but I'm not worried.
I agree with most comments that gas prices do not affect my z06 driving one bit. Worth every penny regardless of the price per gallon.
