Welp, no pics but ... Today I swapped out the Brembo pads to Carbotech 1521 pads to get rid of the crazy brake dust (New Z06 has Brembos & dust , .. former Stingray did NOT have Z51, and therefore NO dust!), ... Added new Rock Guards all around, and added 20mm & 8mm spacers. ... Side note: ... Pads swap out was the easiest pad replacement I have ever done, ... EVER!!!
I installed the red GM engine cover this morning, took all of about 10 minutes. The GM cover does have insulation under it like the OEM black on that comes with the car. The hardest part is removing the hose clamp from the old one to install on the new cover. The original does get a little deformed, yet it still stays in tightly.

The red engine cover is the one little mod I've done to my car that makes me smile whenever I pass by or open the hatch.

I forgot to mention that I used my GM dollars I earned from purchasing the car and a 25% discount on parts from the GM app so it only ran me a bit over $200 to buy the authentic GM part. My onlu concern with the exposed engine is someone leaning over the side of the car to look at the engine and scratching the fender with their belt buckle. It was much more difficult reaching in there than my C7, guess that\s part of owning a mid-engined vehicle.

OK, you did better than I did. I didn't know about the app, but there was 10% off online, and almost $200 in GM points, so with CA tax the price dropped from $550 to $304, not bad.
2025 C8 Stingray of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Had it detailed inside and out. Took out the winter floor mats and put in the summer mats from Lloyds. Added some carbon fiber to the steering wheel. Ready for summer!
