thank you! sorry for the late response. Just recently did the "muffler mod" have about 1000 miles on the setup now runs great. My only issue now is getting rid of some KR in the tune because crappy 91 octane and hot ECT and IAT it can only get about 14-16 degrees of timing at wot right now sadly. May get that 160 thermostat and a bigger radiator eventually and tweak the fan settings just a tad. The AHP 116 camshaft is just right enough chop and smooth never bucks or surges.
I would go with a bigger radiator before the 160° 'stat. I've had a DeWitts for 20+ years. Sure, you can find a cheaper radiator. Will it last 20+ years? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe not could be a real bitch at 11:00 P.M. 30 miles from the nearest wrecker...

I agree with you on this 100%
I'm not convinced the 160 T Stat really does anything for cooling.
The Dewitt is a huge upgrade over the stock radiator. We also just recently installed a set of there new Brushless fans that seem really nice. Prior we have always used the Prospeed fans but these new brushless fans seem really nice!
Kohle did you go with the new Dewitts dual 11-inch brushless fan on that install or the big single brushless fan? I run Dewitts big single fan. BTW the shroud is a cut to fit (side-to-side 22.5 inches to 27 inches) making a nice add on to other older hot rods. On this one I had to cut it offset a little to miss the ABS box.
