Hey all — Alan at Matick Chevrolet here. Wanted to circle back on this thread directly since the gas guzzler question crept in and a few folks specifically flagged our configurator.
First, to anyone who tried to reach me over the last couple weeks and couldn't get through — my apologies. Between email, text, phone, DMs across multiple social platforms, and messages on the forums, the 2027 inquiry volume has outpaced what one person can triage cleanly. I'm working on a dedicated intake so things stop falling through the cracks, and I'll share details once it's set up. If you reached out and didn't hear back, flag it here in the thread — easier to track than scattered DMs.
On the configurator: yes, we had the gas guzzler tax incorrectly applying to trims that don't have a published rating. The only published 2027 gas guzzler taxes we're aware of right now are on Z06 and ZR1, and that's what the updated tool reflects. We patched the bug, then audited the full option exclusion table to clean up other compatibility quirks while we were in there. Tool's in a much better spot now. If you ran a build before this week, worth running it again.
If anyone's seeing something different on published 2027 ratings, I'd genuinely like to know. EPA hasn't posted the full picture yet, and I'd rather get corrected here than publish something I have to walk back.
Build questions or configurator weirdness — post 'em here. Happy to work through it in the open.

Please also fix the 2027 Stingray’s listed engine on the configurator, it still says
‘6.2L LT2 engine’ (should be 6.7L LS6).

Actually, I ended up fixing that once, and I think in the last update it reverted back, and that was part of the SEO stuff that we had inserted, so we're updating that now. Thank you.
This has been an awesome tool and obviously very well received, thank you! With that said, any word or rumor when they might have the authentic configuration function updated to 2027 on the Chevy site?

I keep asking, and I've got no definitive answer at this point. We've already rolled four more updates out this week to keep this one alive and kicking, so again, anything you guys find, post it here and I'll get it addressed. Thanks, Alan
