I just used Nexus from Naples FL to Sumter South Carolina. Enclosed trailer, good communication, fair pricing, inspection during pick up, and inspection on delivery. Plus, they arrived at both pick up and delivery at the time planned.
I would use them again.
I recently looked into this. Spoke to Intercity, Plycar, E Motor Car Transport, and Rosco specialized. All enclosed transport. All very helpful. There was a 2x difference between the lowest and highest prices. The higher priced carriers were dedicated to you and your car. They would be there at a specific day/ time and drive directly to the destination. Sleep in the cab for security. No other cars on board and no other stops other than fuel and sleep. You pay for that. They are suffering from the cost of fuel right now...just calculate how much Diesel it takes just to do the drive. In the end I just drove the car home...
I have used Intercity and Reliable in the past with no issues. I have also used a dealership recommendation in the past and I had one situation that did not turn out well. I recommend doing your homework and get references. Just remember that you get what you pay for!
My son will be looking to ship a new Grand Sport he has on order now hopefully in mid July to Mid August timeframe from PA to Portsmouth VA approx 380 miles. We are trying to decide whether he is going to take a flight to the dealer and drive it back or just have it shipped. We have no idea on the shipping cost. I was going to get an estimate from Intercity but it doesn't make any sense to get it now things and prices may change from now to a couple of months from now. Can anyone give me some idea of what we're looking at for shipping based on current prices? Just so we have some idea to start planning.
