Default RPI Design, what is going on?

I ordered a part from RPI Design for a new car I bought. I have not ordered anything from them since about 2017 when Don was still working from them. I since have not kept up to date on what is going on in the car world due to other life issues. So I order a part on 2 April which was an easy part to produce and still to this date I have received nothing even though I paid in full on line. Does anybody know what is going on with RPI?

I bought a painted engine cover from them over the winter months. Took a few months for it to arrive but that's what I expected. All of these companies that make/sell "custom" parts seem to takes months regardless of what they tell you.
Did you not even receive an initial purchase email?

The last couple of times I purchased from RPI it took two months or so to get the items. I'm happy with their products but it does take a while ...

I will just add that communication is bad with them. I had to post in the forum following one of their post selling something to get their attention to reply my email to process my return.

Their product didn't fit correctly and after several weeks they asked me to send it back just to finish with a "it has been opened" and I had to pay extra to get it back to me so i can modify it myself to make it work.

Not sure if they really have makers here in the states.
I had originally planned to buy more things from them.
Not any more.

I think in general a lot of companies are terrible at communicating, the smaller they are the worse they are. Some of these vendors have historically been bad on Corvette Forum, but as other businesses have degraded service so have they.

I just think its a fact of the world we live in and its sucks.

I'd just stay away from companies like this.

When I purchased their lifting pucks in 2018 I had no issue at all, but now days..........

After Don left it went down hill fast. And this is not the only forum to notice. If you're OK with the risk, order it. If waiting months is not your thing, don't order. I hope Don is doing well wherever he went.
