It just "bothers me" that these clubs dont post their big shows on this HUGE Forum.....although
I doubt many Northwest members actually read this section ????
Having attended myself in 2021 , I'm suggestting that the BLACK HILLS Corvette Rally
in South Dakota is a better show overall.....I didnt pay to be an official part of the Rally
as much of 2021 was held over from Covid Cancelled 2020...........but I was there
I tried reaching out to the club to find out why the $160 fee? is it for show and dinner? Entertainment? Would they please break it down? No answer as of yet. Some might only want to do the car show. What would that fee consist of? I did see the price goes up if not registered by certain dates....I don't know why but hopefully they will respond to my email i sent last week. And is it judged by participants (peoples choice) or club judging?
You probably should do the thinking! Obviously you haven't seen their site. It could have been broke down and explained car show $40 dinner price etc. And why be such a negative person? It was a good question but to get your response was wrong of you. You should have listened to your parents if you don't have anything nice to say then keep it to yourself! It’s a good question, I assume it’s for the two dinners and the show on Saturday. I’d like to know also, just for my information. I’d also like to know how they judge the show, and if you have to stay until Sunday night to find out who placed in each category. Most big shows have the awards the evening of the show. But I’ve never been to this one, I hear it’s a good one!
He may have an intelligent question. Last years banquet menu consisted of hamburger and hot dog. Hosting motel wasn't even aware of the scheduled time for the free beer. Was a waste of money as far as I am concerned and discouraged me from attending in the future!
People willing/wanting to travel AND SPEND THAT KIND OF $$$$$ would be better off

That would be a fun car show and to spend some time in that area. We visited SD on a family road trip years ago and I was surprised how beautiful the Badlands were; the only downside was it was 112F during the day and we were camping...
Overnight/morning temps are still in the 30's-40's in Missoula this weekend. We got snow in Gallatin county this week. Be real careful on summer tires.
Would love to attend, but the Vette isn't going on a 3-hour road trip with R888r's all around.

Other than its a 3 day weekend (Memorial Day) you look at AVERAGE weather conditions for this time of year
many people dont want to drive from Wash, Oregon ID to participate in a MONTANA show..............

And people like me bitch when Bosie ID has their big show and it'sd 100 degrees !!!!!!!!
I have no idea who 5spc3 is - with only one post, but I am a local and was a member of HCC back to 1974.
W. MT is full of splendor for sight seeing and some very nice areas can be visited on the way to or from (Glacier and Yellowstone Parks - to name a couple). The Big Sky Corvette meet rotates annually between major cities around the state; so comments about last year would not likely apply.
Although we have been members of the Hellgate Corvette Club again for the last four years, we did not attend this year's event - or any of the Big Sky Corvette meets since 2013. Regional meets were more appealing to our lifestyle.
Is it expensive? I guess that is relative, but seek more info from the club web site.
I hope this helps ... the club members said that the feedback for this year's event was very good; spendy ... yes.
Cannot get a hold of Hyalite Club. Old phone number is dead. I wanted to visit show with my car on Sunday at Ressler from 9 to 12. Do I have to register? Got 2 of them an 11 and a 17. Not sure which one to bring.
