Removed the vararam cai to clean the filter so so decided to clean the tb also amd I stumbled on what seems to be a fuel pressure regulator tube that's supposed to be connected to the intake.
Car runs well though the way it is.
Should I get a fitting and connect it?

Yes - it is there to ensure that the fuel flow from the injectors remains proportional to engine requirement. It varies the fuel pressure based on manifold pressure (which is an indication of engine load). Not to mention you have an open vacuum line to the intake. Fix it.
