Mine don’t seem to overlap like that. The driver’s side stops just short of the pillar and the P-side is not even close. That’s no expertise of mine. It’s how I got the car. I’ve read where others have had the same issue as you and have opted for the shorter wipers.
I drive mine all the time. I won’t deliberately take off in the snow but heck…. The day I bought mine it decided to snow, out of the blue. It’s Colorado, what can I say. So I need good wipers.
unless you’re getting judged, I really don’t think it’s an issue to go shorter.
