Delco/Bose replacement speakers
I tried to search in this forum but couldn't find an appropriate answer, so here goes:
Are there any "plug & play" speakers on the market which can work as direct replacements to the Delco/Bose speakers without having to modify anything else in the sound system? I have an 88 convertible and after testing different things, I'm convinced my speakers are shot, so I would like to find replacements to the speakers that would work right out of the box.

There are lots of good used stock replacements around. I bought some off ebay not long ago cheap, all in good shape.
I suspect these are basically the same driver Bose used in a bunch of stuff, including their home speakers, back then.
There are new aftermarket replacements for them as well that I bet would work if you'd rather. Look up the Bose
601 or 901 or something like that's speakers.
