So they're just quoting doing a bunch of random mods to your car?
sheesh, cam swap? What will that achieve regarding your issues?
maybe they should throw in meth injection too
But the new mods will produce enough new issues that he forgets about the original problems.
Don't see where you replaced plug wires? Most wet plugs, various misses can be caused by mis fires from wire breakdown. Cheep replacement but, only OEM wires.

I replaced 2 injectors on my new to me Z06 that had not been driven much. 6800 miles in 10 years. The same running issues as you are just fine now. I did not have your other issues.
""""""2. For diagnostic confirmation, what would you do first?- Injector swap (cyl 2 ↔ cyl 1) and recheck Mode 6?- Send injectors out for ultrasonic flow test?- Borescope cyl 2 first?- Tech 2 fuel system data log?"""""""""
-Personally i would swap injector and plug wire from a working bank. An experienced mechanic should be able to the above in under 4hrs, if he is good, under 2hrs bill time. Then retest mode 6 like you said.
-Testing injectors does not always work, ohm wise, and spray wise. Some only have issues once they are hot.
""""""3. If injectors confirmed, are you guys replacing all 8 or just the bad ones? The labor is the same to access them, but cost diff is significant.""""""""
-I had an intermittent cyl misfire, i swapped only 4, worked fine. The only thing is the fuel trims were off by about 10% afterward for one bank. Im guessing the new injectors had a slightly larger spray.
-Eventually i swapped the other 4, if your already in there, just get it over with.
