Default It's back The BlueBerry.

I'm still 1200 miles away from the car but...... its on its shake down runs. Thanks to Bud McNasby for picking up the car and getting it ready to race. First pass shallow footbreaking 2000rmp pro 500 tree. 10.0 index woops lol

I saw the car yesterday. Didn't get a chance to see Bud make a pass in it though.

Very happy to see it back at the track. I'm going to talk Bud into a Heads up race. Just like old times. Blueberry vs the Sled

Sonny,
How come you're not in Bowling Green running LSX drag radial this weekend?

I was given a play by play report. I am amazed. Race Krafters did work. Bud got a fresh rebuild without any data on how the car would run. No track tune has been done yet. Shakedown omg. He put the car into the car into the finals out of the box. I was on the fence about selling the car or running it next season. After 6 runs there is no question. Look out IRHA. lol. Forget the 2017 Challenger Shaker, hello Durango tow vehicle.

I plan to have Bud give me a class room schooling of true foot breaking. We don't need no stinking trans brake.

I need to credit Chris and Ralph and the incredible job Leo did on the car. To quote Bud, "unbelievably smooth and easy to drive car"

Jim, I'm thrilled to hear you're looking forward to getting back into that car and hurting some feelings with it. Send me a text when you get up here and we'll get lunch or something. We can invite Bud along for a little coaching too.

One of his students, a former corvette challenge racer, won a Wally today in SG.

Cool!

What do you do to slow it down for the index class?

First pass was shallow foot braking at 2000 rmp

Deep staged, lowed the launch rpm and adjusted the throttle limiter.

Q2-9.957, E1-10.113 (had a big lead) , E2-10.001 , E3-10.010, Finals-10.027
