Default Injectors.....what brand?

Hey guys. Looking at injectors for my build. Looking at at least 1000cc or 100 lbs. Is ID the only ones worth a damn? I do my own tuning so injector data is important to me. What do yo guys recommend? Im also running E85.

I have bosch 127s. No problems with them or from the tuner about them.

I'm also running the 127's and they have served me well so far... I'm also running e85 and they are about maxed out so if I want any more power I'd have to get another set

I'm always surprised more people don't run the bosch's as seems like most go with IDs. the $2k for injectors ID charges always seemed hard to deal with and I've seen some bosch 165lb cars idle perfectly.

It's because they read it all from Internet...

We only use the Bosch injectors now, never an issue. I have not done any testing personally, but there is video online of both injectors firing in a test box and the boche spray much nicer. Can't speak for the legitimacy of that test though.

I've got a set of Bosch 160cc Ls1 injectors that didn't perform as advertised. Whether it's my tuner or the injectors, they were at 90% at 700 RWHP on E85 on my turbo 390cu combo. That's why I went with FIC 142's.

Exactly. Internet seems to say "IDs or bust". I might just see who has the best deal between Bosch, ID and FIC at the time Im going to purchase.

Some tuners only work with ID. They're definitely the most expensive and the jump from 1050cc to 1350cc in price is crazy.

Unless something changed, ID use a Bosch injector that they then modify. Some of them don't even get modified, just flow matched. That said, they do run well and they did a good job bringing application data to the game.

I like Fuel Injector Connection, they are family owned and have great customer service. I've bought a ton of injectors from them....

I read that ID uses Bosch too on a forum and someone flipped their cookie about it. Nobody qwas supposed to know that kind of thing . Don't recall if it was an ID rep or dealer.

I agree on FIC having great customer service. I have ran a few set from them with success.

i became "interested" in id injectors, when i read they were "the pinnacle of injector technology". you see bosch motorsports partner on their site, but nothing about them on boschs site.

well, anyways, i assume all aftermarket suppliers modify stock injectors. my question is how? do i see an injector being "processed" on a sherline on ids site? i was sure edm was the way to go. also, which of the vendors offset match their injectors?

edit: a knowledgeable person on another site said he would use nippon denso injectors whenever possible.

What are the 127lbs injector good to on e85/e98 on a turbo c5? Plan on running e98 next year but can't decide if I need 127lbs or 160lbs.

Actually Bosch makes them directly for Injector Dynamics that is why they cost more. Theyre specific to ID and their specs. Also you they give you a ton of info and specs for tuning and of course all that isnt cheap. You can always call Paul or Tony at ID/T1 and theyll answer all those questions for you. Whether the price is worth it is up to the customer.

This is a great podcast and here is some info on Injector Dynamics directly from the horses mouth. Not pushing the brand but there's a lot of misconceptions out there. That being said there are a few really good injectors on the market. I think you pay more for tech support and tech data.
