New Lighting Technologies for the ME Zora
Here is a excellent video on the new lighting technologies that are happening within the auto industry. The video was put out by Audi but there are elements of it that relate to the ME Zora. We know from the Zerv leaks that the taillights are a wrap around design shape that can send light back and to the side. I do believe GM is on top of these advancements and that the ME Zora will have most of this tech. There is still a day left on the Ask Tadge poll that has a question on this very subject called Advancements of Taillight Technology. Go vote on this if you are interested in hearing from Tadge on this subject.

What a great example of ultimate technology! A Nobel Price winner working on LED lights! This is phenomenal use of IT and research! Bring it on!!

It's included in the price unless it's early in their development. Settle down boys!

Lighting has so improved in the last roughly five years. Even on my wife’s under $25K, 2017 Mazda 3 GT, one can see close to forever at night, and of course it has headlights that turn with the steering wheel.
I am looking forward to the ME’s headlights, as they are six-year-later-evolved from the C7’s, being far improved.

LED technology is a godsend- much simpler (no ballasts, gas-filled bulbs, etc.) and way more reliable. Looking forward to the C8 having LEDs over HID lights. I recently had to change an HID bulb and ballast on my wife's Acura and it was a major pain to service because of the ballast location. LEDs are just bulbs and will last the lifetime of the car.
Don't worry, all the extra features in the Audi video over-complicating the lights won't be on the C8- this is all typical German overengineered/little benefit stuff.

As someone who's eyes are very sensitive to color temperature and intensity, I certainly do not look forward to driving at night when there's will be commonplace on the roads. The flickering of the LED's will only make it worse for those with sensitive eyes.

The human eye cannot see a LED flicker. They only flicker on camera due to frame rates.

Most people can not discern the flicker... especially when looking directly at the light, but some... like me can see it when blinking or looking away. You experience a “flashing” effect. At least this is so with older units.
Maybe be they will have solved the effect with different rates. ?

Audi, MB and BMW have had some of these lighting features for a few years now. I have an '18 BMW 550iX with the lighting option that has most of the lighting features shown in the Audi vid. The US, in its infinite wisdom, doesn't allow many of the features that LED arrays provide, so I had to code the car to activate it. It works wonderfully and does a great job of not blinding people in front of your or approaching you.
