Default How Much Longer?

Hello all, this may be (is) a rookie question. I am new to the Corvette world and would like to know what is the typical model year run for the Z06? I am working toward getting a 2027 C8 Z06, but i hear rumblings that this may be the last year? What, if any, indicators are out there as to when the model run will end and they begin to transition to the next one.

No one really knows except for GM employees under NDA's. But the best guess is 2030 C9 coming in 29 but probably not Z06. It will be later

I’m not trying to be offensive.

But who cares?
Go buy the car you want. Live your life. These cars do not appreciate and if you can afford it now and stay on the same financial track . Trade it in when C9 comes out or keep it.
Tomorrow is not assured to anyone.

The actual question should be how long will GM build the C8?? If they are building C8s, they will be building C8 Z06s.

conservative estimate for the c8 z is 2 years probably more until the c9 z appears on the showroom floor with a price jump meaning its quite possible you won't be in a c9 z for 4 years .

non taken; I have and will get the one I want. I guess i wasn't clear. I am not concerned with resale, i am just hoping i can get one new. I really don't want a used C8 Z06; i want to build and spec my own. 2027 is my year, if they are still available new

No one really knows. Z06 in the past was always built until the end of the generation. No C9 heavy camo test cars have been spotted anywhere that I have seen, so I don't think the C8 generation is ending anytime soon.
