I wanted to share my recent experience and suggest that you consider getting a ShineMate cordless polisher. I just replaced my old corded Griot’s DA with the ShineMate EB351, which comes with a 6” plate and a 21mm throw, and I finally had a chance to use it last weekend. Honestly, I was blown away by how powerful and smooth it is—it really made a noticeable difference in both performance and ease of use.

Another big advantage is the price; the ShineMate is just a fraction of the cost compared to the Rupes, making it a really practical option without compromising on quality. If you’re thinking about upgrading or adding to your gear, this model is definitely worth considering.
