10-minute job to remove snapped damper install tool.... 2-week (my evenings) job to pull and re-install in car. Justified a cherry picker purchase (had the engine stand from 1999 rebuild). "In this picture" thick stamped steel Canton timing cover concealing my Xtreme Energy retro-roller cam & Cloyes TRUE double roller timing set. DART Iron Eagle heads (180cc intake, 72cc chamber, straight plug), el-cheapo chrome valve covers but they clear my Ultra Pro Magnums, have baffles AND have a built-in oil cap. You can just see the links on the Comp High-Energy hydraulic roller lifters. This picture has the $40 oil pan that I ultimately replaced with a Milodon #30701 pan. The Milodon pan, at $175, was well worth the $$$. it is TONS thicker on the rails and has the best clearance for my PS slave cylinder than I've seen since pulling the OEM pan (in error) back in 1997. AND, it doesn't leak!!!
