1971 Corvette ZR2 - 12 Units

The late '60s and early '70s were a wondrous time for the American automobile industry. This was the period when Chevy created some of the most amazing iterations of the Corvette to date. Many of these ultra-powerful monsters were built in extremely limited numbers. And the 1971 ZR2 was one such Corvette variant. A sequel of sorts to the ZR1, the ZR2 was introduced a year later. It was offered as a special package with tons of performance goodies centered around the 454 LS-6 engine.

1971 Corvette ZR1 - 8 Units

Produced between 1970 and 1972, the ZR1 was a race car for all intents and purposes. Of the total 53 units built with this package, only 8 of them were produced in the 1971 model year. The package was only an option with the LT-1 engine. And of the 8 cars that rolled off the factory line in 1971, 7 were coupes and just one was a convertible.

1963 Corvette Grand Sport - 5 Units

One of the most iconic high-performance/racing Corvettes ever created, the 1963 Grand Sport was a dominant force in endurance racing in its time. Only 5 of these machines were produced by GM, but they technically weren't even supposed to be. With AMA imposing restrictions on factory-supported race cars, the folks at Chevrolet decided to ease off of racing developments. Well, except for Zora Arkus-Duntov, who managed to develop and produce five of the planned 125 units before GM strengthened their company-wide enforcement of the AMA rules, putting an end to the 1963 Grand Sport. All 5 of these racers still exist and are reportedly in healthy condition.

1969 Corvette ZL1 - 2 Units

The iconic pinstriping on the 1969 Corvette ZL1 makes it instantly recognizable. Due to the ZL1 option, which was an eye-wateringly powerful engine package, being so much more expensive than the base Corvette (nearly double the price), it was not a great seller at the dealer. Of the two units sold, only this yellow one is currently accounted for. The other one was white.

1983 Corvette - 1 Unit

1983 Will forever be a memorable year in Corvette history. And it will likely always be the only year in which there was a single Chevy Corvette built. This was the very beginning of the long journey of the C4 Corvette. But there's just this one '83 model in existence, the only one of the total 44 prototypes built by Chevy during the development process for the C4 'Vette. And it lives in the National Corvette Museum permanently. This is a one-of-one in the truest sense, and therefore, it's a priceless commodity.
