1. The Point of No Return

There are numerous things that could get your Corvette's interior dirty, but there is one thing that could ruin it for life: smoking. If you can, don't smoke in your Corvette. The smell of smoke is near impossible to get rid of, as it gets absorbed through your seats, your headliner, your carpet, and through every inch of material that is capable of taking it in. Not smoking and preventing others from doing it as well in your Corvette is the best preventative measure that will allow you to take care of the cabin and keep it nice and fresh for years and decades.

2. Take Care of Your Leather

The leather interior of your Corvette makes it a pleasure to spend time in, but once your leather starts cracking, it becomes annoying to look at daily. To avoid leather cracking, it's best to park in shady spots, but this is not always an option; so be sure to keep your leather and dashboard nicely cleaned and hydrated. Use leather conditioning on your clean seats; this should keep it nice and smooth. Be sure to clean the seats as often as you can; the last thing you want is to sit over small dirt particles that will slowly wear out your leather.

3. Keep The Interior Organized

We've all been in friends' vehicles and thought we fell right into a dumpster. Don't do that with your Corvette. Throwing all of the used fast food bags, dirty clothes, and empty Pepsi cans may look harmless, but they are stains waiting to happen. It doesn't matter what you're covering your floor with, they hide your carpet, which makes it harder to spot parts that need a quick cleaning. The longer you wait on stains, the harder they are to clean, so make sure your interior is well organized to avoid needing to figure out ways to clean it later.

4. Vacuum Often

The power of vacuuming is often overlooked, and there is nothing like a machine that collects all of the dirt, grime, particles, mud, sand, and whatever else is on the floors and seats of your Corvette for you. Make it a point to vacuum your Corvette's interior once a week, or even sooner if you need to, and your interior should stay well-taken care of. Not vacuuming enough, on the other hand, is like stomping and grinding all of the dirt into your carpet over and over again every single time you set foot into your American dream machine.

5. Shampoo The Interior

With a conditioned leather interior, a vacuumed cabin, and no smoke odor, the last thing left is to shampoo your carpet. You don't have to do this as often as you would vacuum your carpet. However, this is the only way to keep the carpet as clean as it did when you bought your Vette. Always remember that stains continue to settle the longer you wait on them. So if your vanilla ice-cream scoop decided it no longer wants to stay on your waffle-cone, be sure to shampoo the damaged spot as quickly as you can. Waiting on that spot to magically fix itself will just make it harder to clean and it may become a permanent spot.
