1. Cemented C4

This iconic Corvette moment will probably be cemented in your memory forever. It was 1998 and Steve Austin (aka "Stone Cold") arranged for a cement truck to dump cement all over then rival Vince McMahon's shiny, new C4. The scene (prank) garnered worldwide entertainment news coverage that surely made wrestle fans and Corvette enthusiasts the world over wince in agony as the beautifully manufactured car quickly became coated in thick, rough cement in a matter of minutes. There are clips online if you'd like to see the over-the-top spectacle for yourself.

2. C1 on the Big Screen

Picture actor Johnny Depp cruising down an open road with the wind in his short, black hair. Now picture the beauty who's right there with him. (Hint: We're not talking co-star Amber Heard.) In the 2011 cult classic, "The Rum Diary," Johnny Depp drives a stunning C1 that is an absolute show shopper. Not only is the car a memorable "character" within the film, but it has gone on to become a permanent fixture in Johnny Depp's personal life. After shooting on the film wrapped, an unknown producer gifted Johnny with his very own C1.

3. Con Air Corvette

Every actor knows not every movie part calls for a "beauty" shot. For some roles, you simply have to strip off the makeup and do the grunt work of acting. And no "actor" has proven this more so than the 1967 Corvette that appeared in the 1997 film Con Air, starring Nicholas Cage. In the film, the car is dragged behind a large airplane by a beast of a wire cable. The car received its close-up in the end, but it was too bruised and beat up for it to matter. The sight gag worked, though, and that is why this iconic scene has survived pop culture history for all these years. Sometimes, you simply have to take it like a Corvette!

4. Jay Leno's ZR1

No pop culture celebrity knows cars like late night talk show host Jay Leno. And no pop culture celebrity has popularized the Corvette more so than him. Not only does Jay Leno own several Corvettes, he's also spent years showcasing them on TV shows and in leading car magazines. One of the most famous pop culture moments of Jay Leno's career may have been when he proudly showed off his 2009 ZR1, which other Corvette enthusiasts couldn't help but marvel at — us included.

5. Beach Boys Love the Stingray

If you're a Beach Boys fan, then you're probably familiar with the much talked about reference the band makes in their 1963 hit song "Shut Down" to the Corvette Stingray, which remains one of Corvette's most popular models. It's no wonder this "oldie but goodie" has remained in the hearts and souls of music listeners for so many years. Try to stump other Corvette enthusiasts with this and the other fun Corvette trivia we've presented here.
