1. iPod

No CD owner wants to be told to use an iPod, but it is a reality. The most efficient way to get your music flowing through your Corvette C7's speakers is to download your large collection on a large storage iPod, then use an AUX cable to play it through your C7's stereo. You can purchase any song you want and download it directly to your iPod, and or you can just set a day aside to load your CDs onto iTunes and transfer them to your iPod.

2. Flash Drive

This is an even easier way to play your music in your C7, by downloading it to a USB drive. There is a variety of USB drives with a variety of memory capacities, so no matter how large your music collection is, it is sure to fit on there. The best thing about playing music through your Flash Drive is that you just need to plug it into your C7's USB port and play the music, it is that easy. You can go through your songs and folders using your Corvette's system, and when you turn the car off and on again, it will continue from the part you stopped at, so you can't really lose with a Flash Drive.

3. Bluetooth

If you figure out how you can download your favorite music on your iPod or your flash drive, then you can download it on your phone. Your phone is already connected to your C7's system as a phone, and now you can just play music off of it, which will reduce the mess of CDs, cables, and small USB devices. As long as your phone is connected to your Corvette via Bluetooth, you can play all of the songs you want, for as long as you want, which is probably the most reliable way to listen to music in your C7. Connecting your phone to your stereo through Bluetooth also opens you up to free music streaming platforms to give you variety in your music. Pandora and Spotify will be a treat to your ears as you can choose the artist, genre, or even a mood to discover brand new tunes for your drive.

4. CD Player

For the hardcore CD fans that refuse to download their music on any device, there is still hope. You can purchase an inexpensive CD player, then use an AUX cord to connect it to your C7's system. If your car isn't equipped with an AUX cable, or if you don't want to deal with the cables running around your cabin, you can find CD players that work off of Bluetooth, they just might be large in size. Note, however, that these CD players could stop-and-go if you go over bumps, so as long as you're mentally prepared for the disturbance, this could be a good alternative for you.

5. New Stereo

We were hoping it wouldn't come down to this, but if you are completely opposed to the idea of downloading your music anywhere or using an old-school CD player, then replacing your C7's stereo system could be your last hope. This is obviously not recommended, as the Corvette features a tremendously nice system, but if you have your eyes on a great touchscreen single disc system and you're OK with the aftermarket stereo, then maybe you should consider installing it in place of the stock stereo so you can play your CD collection.
