1. 'Vettes and Jets Foundation

How American can a car show get that centers around the Corvette? How about by having it on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier with the proceeds going towards veterans! Back in 2006, Stephen McCray and Mike Ross had the idea to help raise money for the USO and Wounded Warrior Project by hosting an amazing group of cars. The event was bigger than they ever could have imagined, and they were flooded with requests to do it again for more of the Corvette community to attend.

The event has taken place again and again, with each year raising more for the charities and hosting more Corvettes. Sadly, this coming weekend may be the last one. If you can make it, we're sure it will be a monumental event as well as a fitting end to this great two-day event. Here's the link to the 'Vettes and Jets Foundation.

2. Corvettes at Carlisle

The show happens to be the largest of all the Corvette shows, hosting more than 5,000 Corvettes across all generations of the iconic car. There is also a parade, an area for burnouts, and an auto crossing taking place with attendees. If you're in the market for knick-knacks or a particular part for your car, you may find it at the event's swap meet from one of many vendors that set up shop there. The 2017 show's registration is open now; it will be amazing to attend if you can make the journey.

3. Corvette Club of America

This organization holds the distinction of being the oldest Corvette Club in the world, started back in 1956! If you can't wait for an out and out Corvette car show, then there are monthly meetings and social gatherings where members just get together to talk shop and hang out. The car show is predominately Corvette; however, all GM vehicles are welcome, with cash and trophies for various categories of GM vehicles. Proceeds from the car show go to Hospice Caring and Wells/Robertson House that provides transitional housing for homeless men and women.

4. Big Cypress Corvette Classic

On the upper east side of Texas on the first weekend of June, the streets and the air fill with America's favorite sports car. Activities include a dinner cruise show and live music. Seeing all these beautiful cars lining picturesque streets will undoubtedly put a smile on your face. Check out this amazing free show that has around 1,000 people in attendance and classic cars to get you all revved up.

5. The 'Vette Set

Out in Southern California, set beautifully in the South Bay area, is this group that has been putting on shows since 1965. Profits from the club's public or private events go to charitable organizations. Their car shows do have an emphasis on Corvettes, but in the interest of gathering as many automotive enthusiasts as possible they opened it up to all makes and models. If you are out in the area during the show, we think you'll have a great time at this one.

6. All American Car Show

Run by the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego, this club began in 1956 but grew to all across the country as members aged and spread out. They host awesome car shows and support the San Diego Center for the Blind and Vision Impaired each year. Enjoy the sunshine and see what San Diego has to offer with this show.

7. Boardwalk Corvette Show

A fleet of Corvettes descending upon the New Jersey Boardwalk is actually one of the most popular shows on the East Coast for 'Vette owners to indulge in. This all-day event starts quite informally, with early arrivals on the preceding Saturday night, and concludes Sunday night with around 400 Corvettes having showed up. Officially, the event is called "A Day at the Beach - Corvette Style" and has Corvettes showing up based on selections of different themes such as movies or songs. This event happens in September of each year and is really a sight to see. If you're near the area, then grab a slice of pizza and check out a lot of American muscle on the boardwalk.
