Jeff Gordon's 2016 Convertible CorvetteThe Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation recently auctioned off a 2016 convertible Corvette Stingray 3LT in a Corvette raffle that's been held for the past 11 years. First Retail Corvette Z206 ConvertibleThe gorgeous first retail model Corvette Z206 convertible was sold last year at the Barrett-Jackson auction. Its final gavel-worthy price was $800,000, all of which went to the United Way. First 2014 C7 Corvette ConvertibleBack in April of 2013, the first C7 Corvette that was produced in the 2014 model year was sold at auction for $1.1 million dollars, purchased by Rick Hendrick. First 2009 Corvette ZR1In 2008, Dave Ressler had the winning bid for the first-built "retailable unit" Corvette ZR1. The final bid? $1,000,000 went to the United Way organization. First 2013 Corvette 427 ConvertibleIn 2012, the first-produced 2013 Corvette 427 convertible was sold at Barrett-Jackson for a whopping $600,000, all of which went towards the charity organization AARP Drive For Hunger. The auction got even more exciting mid-way through, when a Jeff Gordon racing suit and a VIP trip to the 2012 Daytona 500 was thrown into the mix.
