Here are seven Corvettes that were just simply special.
1. 2003 C5 Anniversary Edition
For Corvette's 50th anniversary, Chevrolet created a monster. This car went from 0 to 60 mph in four and a half seconds. This monster had a V8, 3.5-Liter engine, which developed 350 horsepower. It's safe to say that was the perfect celebration for 50 legendary years.

2. 2009 ZHZ
This special Corvette was only designed as a rental car for Hertz Rent-A-Car. This Vette only came in yellow with a black stripe in the middle, and it had a monstrous 6.2-liter, V8 engine, which produced 436 horsepower. There were only 500 ZHZ Corvettes produced in 2008.

3. 2013 C6 Grand Sport Coupe
If you thought the previous Corvettes were fast, think again! The Grand Sport recorded a 0 to 60 mph time of four seconds. The eight-cylinder engine's maximum speed is 190 mph, just be sure not to try it off the track.

4. 2016 Stingray Z51
The name Stingray has always been legendary, and the 7th generation is by far the best. This Corvette can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. As per its name, this 455 horsepower Vette can sting.

5. 2013 427
The 2013 427 was similar to the 2013 Grand Sport and it was quite the special edition. This Corvette is powered by an eight-cylinder engine, with 7.0-liter, which develops 505 horsepower. If this isn't a monster, then nothing is!

6. 2012 Z06 Centennial
This Corvette was something special, as it was produced to celebrate Chevy's 100th birthday. This Vette looked as good as it performed, but the price tag was a little on the higher-end. With a six-figure price, this beast is quite difficult to own.
