Stunning Example

It's no secret that the C5 Corvette remains one of the great performance bargains of our time, a model that routinely sells for pennies on the dollar and also packs tons of potential for those who want to modify it. Regardless, there are also still lots of low-mile C5s out there for the taking if one is more interested in holding onto it as a future collectible - such as this stunningly nice 828-mile Corvette currently up for grabs on Facebook Marketplace.

Better than Most

As one might imagine, the asking price of this amazing C5 isn't cheap - coming in at a cool $35,000, which is a lot more than the average Corvette from this generation typically goes for. However, for those looking for a basically brand-new C5, they certainly don't get much nicer.

No Wear

Inside and out, there aren't too many bones to pick here. Even though Corvettes of this generation utilized some cheap interior plastics that tend to show wear and tear easily, there's none to be found here - even seat bolster wear, which is pretty much inevitable when these cars are driven a lot.

Flawless Exterior

The same goes for the stellar exterior, which shines like new with perfect paint and a nice-looking set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS tires, which are what originally came on the car. From the wheels to the trim and body panels, there are certainly no signs that this Corvette has been driven much over the years.

One Caveat

Given the fact that this car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 cranking out 350 horsepower, it's difficult to imagine how someone managed to only rack up 828 miles in 21 years, but here we are. It is worth noting that this particular C5 has an automatic transmission, however, which is obviously not ideal for its value or fun factor.

Worth the Price?

While the listing doesn't provide too much information about this C5, it's clearly a diamond amongst many rocks out there, because few cars from this generation have been so well taken care of - let alone driven so sparingly. Whether or not that's enough to justify its price tag, well, we'll just have to wait and see.
