1. Voice recognition

For the old school folks, this is a bit of an extra feature that may not be the most "user-friendly". For the younger crowd and more tech-savvy, the Chevy MyLink could be considered a great "upgraded" feature of the C7. Then there are those that are fluent in tech and still have a problem with the voice recognition system fo one reason or another. One enthusiast remarked that no matter how slow, fast, or distinct they speak for the system they receive the "Sorry I didn't understand that".

2. Electric doors

With technology advancing at blazing speeds, some enthusiasts aren't very receptive to the innovate design and function of the "push doors" in the C7 Corvette. This feature was also available in the C6 Corvettes. Users find the location "clumsy" and "unintuitive". The button is affixed right next to the door pull. The driver's position of the left-hand doesn't make it easy to press and "push" the door open.

3. Lack of Blind Spot Monitor

With a sports car that is so fast and so "wide" and so low, the driver can seriously benefit from this feature as they are often utilizing the left lane or "passing" lane more than the average driver. Unfortunately, the C7 does not come equipped with this feature drivers have to rely on a mix of the mirrors, a head turn, and a quick prayer.

4. Lack of Fog lights

This feature was removed in turn for the bi-xenon headlights. Some enthusiasts dislike this because the fog lights on the C6 were especially useful when driving through rain or wet roads. One enthusiast on the forum remarked that in really bad fog he had been experiencing he only drove his C6!

5. Auto Hatch pull down

Really the complaint here is that on some models/years of the C7, the feature for "auto hatch pull down" was unavailable.  Alternatively, if owners don't use the pull down "handle" properly to pull the hatch down without enough force, it doesn't close fully. The fix that owners have reported was to have a door or window open before closing to make things easier. The rear hatch auto feature was eliminated by GM in order to save weight on the C7 in case you were wondering.

6. Backup Camera

Many owners have complained that the backup camera isn't very clear. This is another mark for a miss in safety. People have compared to the Chevy Cruze which has a much clearer camera. What good is a camera where you cannot make out what you are even looking at? Positioning it right above the license plate is kind of a crazy place to put it. The angle of the camera could account for the JJ Abrams lens flare that shows up on the monitor.

7. Tires

Owners report that the run flat tires are not worth it performance wise as they add to the unsprung weight. There are also no 'all-season' tires available for this model. For the all season driver, this could be an issue. Some enthusiasts have taken the run flats off of the car and replaced them with regular sport tires.

8. Seats

Owners have reported that the seats are either not wide enough or just uncomfortable. They have also mentioned that the heated seats don't really "heat" and the vents don't push much air. While others may find the seats just fine, there are those out there who want to drive their C7 but can't even get comfortable enough to do so.

9. Gas

Owners of the C7 are mentioning that they have to fill up more often. It might seem that with the added horsepower and torque, the vehicle is needing frequent fill ups. A feature that they may not know is how to deactivate 4 cylinders on the V8 so that the valves quit opening. I personally cannot vouch for running the car in V4 mode for too long out of fear that it could cause uneven wear and possibly some other long term negative impact.
