Rare Offering

Corvette pace cars have long been a favorite among collectors, as those two things have gone together like peanut butter and jelly for literal decades at this point. Many Corvette pace cars built over that time span are quite rare as well, making them true collector items. Now, those interested in adding one of the special machines to their own collection will have a prime opportunity to do so at the upcoming Mecum auction in Glendale, Arizona, where a grand total of 18 Corvette pace cars will cross the block.

Pristine Example

That list includes some pretty special and rare rides, including this 1998 Corvette pace car that's one of 1,163 produced that particular year, as well as one of 547 equipped with a six-speed gearbox. With just 20 miles on the clock, it's basically brand new, and has won a slew of accolades including Bloomington Gold certification, an NCRS Top Flight award, and Triple Diamond status.

Immaculately Preserved

Then we have this 2007 pace car, which is one of just 500 produced and has just 513 miles showing on the odometer. The Atomic Orange beauty has been stored in a climate controlled facility, and as such, quite literally looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

Award Winner

This next Corvette pace car is one of just 527 produced in 1995 and has only 124 miles, and it has the hardware to back up its special status as well. To date, this car has earned Bloomington Gold, Survivor and Benchmark certified status, as well as and NCRS Top Flight award, a Gold Spinner certificate, and an MCACN Triple Diamond award.

Something Newer

For those that want something a little newer, this 2022 Corvette pace car has been authorized by Indy 500 officials and it certainly looks the part, thanks to an Arctic Gray paint job and an Indy livery. It's nicely equipped with the Z51 package, GT2 seats, and a variety of other goodies, and has just 23 miles on the clock as well.

Living the Life

Next up, we have this very special 2017 model, which is one of just 1,738 Grand Sport coupes built in that model year, as well as a Pace Car Edition authorized by Indy 500 officials. Equipped with goodies such as the Z07 package, this C7 is also in immaculate condition with 1,789 miles on the clock after having lived its life in climate-controlled storage thus far.

Amazing Survivor

Those that love the C3 Corvette pace cars have the opportunity to pick up this stellar 1978 model as well, which amazingly has just 53 original miles showing on the odometer. One of 6,502 built and still equipped with its protective interior plastic, this impressive C3 is Bloomington Gold, Survivor, and Benchmark Certified, and has won an NCRS Top Flight award, NCRS 5-Star Bowtie award, a Chevy Vettefest Gold Spinner, and is a Triple Crown recipient.
