One-of-One

It goes without saying that any 1967 Corvette equipped with the tri-power 427/435hp option is a highly desirable vehicle. These cars are, for many, the peak of this legendary car's existence. So when we spotted this incredibly unique example over at Mecum Auctions, we knew that it was worth taking a closer look at.

Rare Combo

So what, exactly, makes this particular '67 Corvette so special? According to the seller, it is the only known 427/435 convertible optioned in this particular Sunfire Yellow and White color combination.

Narrow It Down

It's not like Sunfire Yellow was a terribly popular color on '67 Corvettes, to begin with. Only a little over 10% of them (2,325 of 22,940) came with this particular hue. And that number dips even further when you consider total convertible production of 14,436.

Making a Case

So if you're into the color yellow or rare 'Vettes in general, this one should be right up your alley. But this '67 is a particularly nice ride in its own right. With just 40,000 miles on the clock and a Bloomington Gold Survivor certification, it would make a great addition to any collection.

Loads of Appeal

This particular 'Vette also comes with a complete owner history from the time it was brand new and still sports the original tank sticker and Protect-O-Plate. Plus, outside of the engine and color choices, it also packs a host of nice options.

Breathing Easy

The legendary big block is backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission, which spits fumes out through the iconic side-exit exhaust pipes.

Handling Prowess

This '67 is also fitted with the optional F41 suspension package, which was available on any Corvette that model year and can be verified by the build sheet.

Interesting Choices

This particular car also comes with the rather rare vinyl-covered auxiliary hardtop, an interesting option in its day. But that just fits the rather interesting color combination, wouldn't you say?

The rest of the options sheet includes goodies like power brakes and windows, a telescopic steering column, speed warning indicator, shoulder harnesses, tinted glass, and headrest seats.
