Corvette Z06 Carbon 65 by Geiger Cars is Ready to Attack

The German Version

The new Corvette Z06 Geiger Carbon 65 Edition is Germany's spin of the limited edition Corvette Carbon 65th Anniversary Edition model.  Instead of a few highlighted carbon fiber features, the Geiger 'Vette features a full body kit of carbon.  

Improved Aero Design

The aerodynamic efficiency of the Geiger model is top notch.  Geiger augmented the front spoiler and air intakes on the vehicle.  The fenders and side skirts are designed with carbon fiber air outlets to ease the flow of air over the body.

3 Spoiler Options

For those who are privileged enough to own one of these fine sports cars, you'll get a choice of three different spoilers.  Each spoiler style changes the airflow over the vehicle giving more or less downforce.

More Agile

Geiger Cars built the Corvette Z06 for speed and agility.  The suspension is augmented to sit lower without sacrificing the quality of the ride.  The lower center of gravity makes for a more stable foundation while speeding around sharp curves.

Brakes and Wheels

Geiger offers its own option in terms of brakes if you want to step away from the carbon ceramic brakes.  The standard wheels on the Corvette Z06 Geiger Carbon 65 Edition are 19" in the front and 20" in the rear.

Under the Hood

The main brain under the hood of this Corvette is a 6.2-liter motor with a 2.3-liter compressor and a boosted throttle valve.  Geiger topped off the peak performance vehicle with a brand new software system as well.  The augmentations in the build allow for the Geiger Carbon 65 to push 770 horsepower.  It can go from zero to 60mph in less than three seconds.

Track-Ready Interior

The interior of this vehicle will not disappoint, either.  Get ready to drive fast, and feel safer with the four-point racing harnesses.  Just in case that isn't enough, you can also get a Heigo steel roll bar installed to further improve on-track safety.

The Cost

You'll need a healthy bank account to purchase a Geiger Corvette.  The base price of the vehicle will set you back a cool $166,000 and some change.  If you want all of the added options on the vehicle, you'll spend closer to $230,000.  For those of us who have the cash laying around, and are looking for something different from a ZR1, the Geiger Corvette seems like a great choice.
