1. World's Fastest Corvette

2. Bonneville Speed Week 2017

The Bonneville Speed Week is considered one of the purest racing events in the world, thanks to the diversity of competitors and the sincerity of the open track. People come from all over the world to test themselves and their cars in the salt. The owner of this Corvette was testing himself on the legendary track for Bonneville Speed Week 2017.

3. 2009 Z06

If you own a Corvette, there is no better place to truly see what it can do than out on the Bonneville Speedway. The track's surface can change, however, and sometimes the salt can thicken and prevent drivers from racing on it. One of the tracks extends for 10 miles, allowing drivers to push their cars to their limits and see what they can really do.

4. C4 Chassis

Built on a a C4 chassis, this Corvette first appeared at SEMA back in 1989. The very fast-looking Corvette is just as quick as it looks, delivering 1,500 horsepower courtesy of its supercharged engine. The front end works as a spoiler to keep the car grounded, and thanks to the side-mounted supercharger, there is almost no drag.

5. C1 Corvette

Seeing a C1 Corvette is a sight on its own, but seeing it on the Bonneville Speedway is extremely special. This is a 1956 Chevrolet Corvette, and its owner, unlike any C1 owner, does not keep it covered in the garage. Instead, he like to put its very special and not-stock 265 cubic-inch engine out for a day of play at the world famous race track.

6. C5 ZR1 Corvette

The owner of this C5 Corvette is David Hlebichuk, a retired geologist from Texas. The C5 is a 1990 ZR1 Corvette, and it has reached a high speed of 222.027 mph in Class C GT at the world's famous Bonneville track. There is nothing better to do after a full career of being a geologist than to race a C5 Corvette on one of the best tracks in the world.

7. Salt Shaker

This Corvette has broken many records, and in 1982, it set the record of 240.738 mph in AA/BGT. This record was quite special, as it made this car the fastest stock-bodied Corvette in the world at the time. If you ever visit the Petersen Automotive Museum in Lose Angeles, California, you will see this 1968 Stingray on display.
