No Manual

Not one single car will be equipped with a manual transmission which means anyone can drive them. This isn’t that big of a deal until you consider these cars aren’t exactly slow. Opening up a wider audience to a monster like this could spell trouble for the rental company.

Torque

If you were to look at cars that are difficult to control you would likely find that all of them have a pretty stout torque curve. Cars like the Z06 have incredible midrange which can make maintaining traction next to impossible with a lead foot behind the wheel.

Tires and Traction Control

Hertz isn’t likely to pony up on high-performance tires, let alone keep fresh rubber on the fleet. Old tires combined with big torque spells even bigger problems. Traction control might be discouraged in the fine print, but that isn’t going to stop some people from trying their luck.

Serious Performance

Forget all the numbers, these cars are flat out fast. With top speeds that crack 200mph now, the Z06 is serious business even in the hands of a pro driver. They take focus, experience and a lot of nerve to drive fast. At least their legal team will have job security!

Mile Limitations

Fortunately, the mileage is limited to a very scant 75 miles per day which amounts to a nice drive in the mountains. Wait a minute, isn’t that exactly what could lead to trouble in a car like this? Hopefully, the showboating is kept to a minimum and people use this car to enjoy something different. Then again, if the internet is anything to trust. Hope you enjoyed reading.
